SHARE Architects, in partnership with the Technical University of Moldova and the Union of Architects of the Republic of Moldova, organizes the Conference on Architecture and Urban Development – CONTRACTOR. The event is planned for February 1, 2022, at the Radisson Blu Leogrand Hotel Chișinău.
SHARE Architects is an events platform recognized as the most active network of architecture and construction professionals in Central and South-Eastern Europe. The SHARE Architects community was formed in Romania and has expanded to 15 countries. Today, the platform, thoroughly aware of the challenges that the Balkan and Eastern European countries are facing in terms of urban development and its quality, presents case studies and successful examples at national and international level in order to inspire, bring cutting-edge information and contacts needed for the professional development of construction specialists and investors.
The guest list of the conference includes recognized personalities of architecture in Romania and leaders in the field: Vlad Gaivoronschi – Andreescu & Gaivoronschi co-founder, Andrei Șerbescu – ADNBA founder and partner, Șerban Ţigănaș – Dico & Tiganas co-founder, Alexandru Găvozdea – president of the Order of Architects of Romania (OAR), Emil Ivănescu – president of the Order of Architects of Romania, Branch in Bucharest.

The organizing committee of the conference is made up of Florin Mindirigiu – founder of SHARE Architects, Aurelia Carpov – head of the Department of Architecture of the Technical University of Moldova, and Iurie Povar – president of the Union of Architects of the Republic of Moldova.

The XTU agency, active since 2000, involves many innovative, often award-winning projects that are looking for a stable place in the area. Among its outstanding achievements are the Jeongok Prehistory Museum in South Korea (Korean Academy of Architecture Award), the French pavilion at the Milan 2015 World Fair (Best Architecture Pavilion), Cité du Vin in Bordeaux (2016). Convinced that architecture must anticipate the future, XTU architects have invested heavily in urban agriculture and experimental research in life sciences, ecology, architecture and urbanism.
In 2011, XTU was already a holder of three technology patents. The agency, together with the SymBIO2 consortium, invented and developed the system of “biofacades” (active facades that integrate microalgae cultures).

Maurizio has worked on some of ZHA’s largest residential projects around the world, including Italy, Australia, Mexico and Turkey. In Italy, he successfully led the design team for a group of buildings that make up the new CityLife complex in Milan.
Kerem Yazgan – founding partner of Yazgan Design Architecture, Turkey, the architect of the Chișinău Arena project.
For the past 16 years, Yazgan Design Architecture has been published in 19 countries and has won 89 national and international design awards. With a total of over 8,000,000 square meters of projects located in both Turkey and other countries, Yazgan Design Architecture’s portfolio includes mixed-use buildings, retail, hotel, residential spaces, offices, educational buildings, hospitals, cultural centers, airports and sports complexes.
