The program “ICT tools in the teaching activity of TUM”, stage III

Today, within the Department of Information Technology and Communications, the process of distributing laptops to the professors of the Technical University of Moldova was resumed by the rector of TUM, univ. prof., Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, and the vice-rector Dinu ȚURCANU. The action is now in its third stage, intended for the didactic-scientific staff, the doctoral students, the researchers, and the employees of the university subdivisions as well.

“Laptops have become indispensable tools for teachers in today’s world. They are necessary for assuring the content and appeal of the teaching process during distance learning”, said Dinu ȚURCANU, vice-rector for Informatization, Partnerships, Institutional Image and Communication, who initiated the distribution of the more than 150 laptops, expressing his conviction about these gifts being of significant importance for the academic community.

The new batch of laptops was distributed to the deans of the TUM faculties, who, within a week, will hand them over to the teachers.

Accordingly, the administration of the Technical University of Moldova aims to highlight and further encourage the quality, professionalism, enthusiasm and involvement of teachers in the daily growth of the academic community of TUM by gifting high-performance laptops during their activity at TUM.

Thus, during the 3 stages of the program “ICT tools in the teaching activity of TUM”, initiated by rector Viorel BOSTAN, over 500 laptops were handed to professors and doctoral students of the Technical University of Moldova: January 2020, October 2020 and November 2021.
