Another UTM Freshman Prom took place last night at the “BandabaR” club, bringing to the forefront the talent of the most ingenious first year students.
This year’s edition of Prom coincided with the day of Halloween, which has given a magical hue to the celebration. Eight pairs of freshmen from 8 faculties of UTM, strived to represent their faculty in the best way possible. The ones that stood out the most were the representatives of the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics (Mirela BOSTAN and Vasile LEAHU), who ranked first, but also those of the faculties of Construction, Geodesy and Cadastre (Dana BULAT and Dan ALBU) and Food Technology (Anastasia COHANIUC and Nicolae PASAT), which won, respectively, the second and third place.
We accede to the message of Mr. Radu MELNIC, CEGHID chief director, addressed to the young people at the award ceremony of the winners: “Our dear freshmen, we say “Welcome to the Technical University of Moldova!” And we trust that, by choosing to follow the path of engineering, you made the right choice!”
