Today, October 25, 2025, the city of Criuleni hosted the traditional celebration of farmers, an event filled with joy for both locals and visitors. Under the theme “Golden Autumn 2025,” the event brought to the forefront the fundamental values of agriculture and folk traditions, paying tribute to those who work the land and who, through dedication and hard work, enrich community life.
The Technical University of Moldova took part in the event through the Faculty of Agricultural, Forestry and Environmental Sciences, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and the Career Counseling and Guidance Center.
During the event, the Vice-Rector for Finance and International Relations, Daniela Pojar, delivered a welcome message in which she highlighted the importance of education and research in the agricultural field, as well as UTM’s continued commitment to the development of this essential sector for the economy.

At the agricultural product fair, visitors had the opportunity to discover a wide variety of seasonal produce, planting materials, and traditional goods, all representing the fruits of labor of local farmers. The folk craft exhibition was another highlight, showcasing craftsmanship and folk art passed down from generation to generation.
The friendly and festive atmosphere was further enriched by performances from amateur artists who brought extra energy and color to the celebration. Throughout the day, participants enjoyed a varied artistic program featuring performances by young talents from Criuleni and other parts of the country, while traditional dishes from national cuisine were served to those who wanted to indulge in authentic local flavors.
The “Golden Autumn 2025” celebration brought the community together, created opportunities for learning, and strengthened the ties between education, culture, and agriculture, while offering a special setting to express gratitude toward those who, through work and passion, support both local and national prosperity.
