On February 20, 2022, the 2nd edition of the “Entrepreneurial Intelligence Development Program” was launched, organized by the UTM team within the ERASMUS+ CONNECT project “Connecting universities-industry through smart entrepreneurial cooperation and competitive intelligence of students in Moldova, Georgia and Armenia”, project code: 617393-EPP-1-2020-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE- JP.

The program was launched online, on the Microsoft Teams platform. The greeting of the institutional coordinator of the project, Dr. habil. Larisa BUGAIAN, the director of the Erasmus+ University Center, was followed by a presentation carried out by the project manager, Rina ȚURCAN, Ph.D., head of the Department of Economy and Management, in which she highlighted the purpose of the project, its main provisions, and the team of instructors who will ensure the implementation of the program.

28 students of UTM signed up to participate in the “Entrepreneurial Intelligence Development Program”. During the launch session, the participants showed particular interest in the “Smart Development Program” and its objectives, including the number of learning and communication tools that will be used during the course.

The “Entrepreneurial Intelligence Development Program” includes 3 courses that train various entrepreneurial skills, namely:

  1. The “Pre-acceleration of the business” and “Acceleration of the business” courses, lasting 5 weeks. Instructors: Rina ȚURCAN, Cornelia CRUCERESCU and Cristina DIACONU;
  2. The “Development of digital skills” course, lasting 2 weeks. Instructors: Iuliu ȚURCAN, Alina STRATILA and Tatiana MUNTEANU;
  3. The “Leadership and artistic skills” course, lasting 2 weeks. Instructors: Ala OBERȘT and Stela CUCOȘ.

The “Entrepreneurial Intelligence Development Program” will be organized in hybrid format (online and offline), including synchronous and asynchronous learning techniques.

The proposed program is topical and beneficial for young people interested in acquiring and improving the practical skills necessary for starting a business, the digital skills necessary for business promotion, and leadership skills.

The Connect project aims to strengthen university-industry relations based on the intelligent (multidimensional) entrepreneurial approach in higher education institutions of the Eastern Partnership countries (EaPC) and to strengthen the competitive intelligence (behaviours, skills, mindsets) of students and graduates, as well as their ability to create jobs.

The Connect project is implemented with EU support through the Erasmus+ program.
