In the context of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Programme project, from 13-17 February, 2023, the UTM Faculty of Economic Engineering and Business received a visit from Yevhen REVTIUK, Assoc. Prof. at the Poznań University of Technology in Poland, Faculty of Engineering Management, specialist in the field of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ethics, management and project management.
Although it was of short duration, the visit included several activities:
– classes with the 1st and 3rd year students from the Business and Administration, Accounting, Marketing and Logistics, General Economics, Finance and Banks study programmes, on some important topics in the field, such as the decision-making process, the ethical principles in management, etc;
– an online presentation for students of the “Business Administration” study programme about the methodology of scientific research, the analysis of the quantitative research methods, with the help of which the research becomes clearer, and the importance of modeling and forecasting of socio-economic processes. The professor presented his own studies, in reference to 24 European countries, which allowed him to validate some hypotheses regarding the macroeconomic factors influencing economic and political inequality.
On February 15, Mr. Yevhen Revtiuk visited the ERASMUS+ University Center, where he learned more about the activity of UTM.
On February 16, Mr. Revtiuk had a meeting with the Faculty staff – the dean of FIEB, Rafael CILOCI; the head of the Economics and Management department, Rina ȚURCAN; the head of the Economic Theory and Marketing department, Veaceslav BÂRDAN; the responsible for International Relations, Cornelia CRUCERESCU; and the vice-dean of the Faculty, Marcela BOTNARU, with which he identified new collaboration opportunities for FIEB-UTM and the Faculty of Engineering Management of Poznań University of Technology, in order to develop new mutually beneficial collaboration projects.
Such visits open up fresh possibilities for discovering and adopting modern approaches, and establishing new collaborative relationships.
