Impressively growing audience for the BAC preparatory courses at UTM

For the second year consecutively, the Technical University of Moldova carries out its preparatory courses for the Baccalaureate exams online. The high school students interested in watching the live transmission of the courses can do so by visiting the Facebook page of UTM. The initiative was executed with the support of the University Center for Career Information and Guidance – CEGHID.

Although the start of the courses was announced yesterday, during the live broadcast on the Facebook page of UTM, in just two days, the number of hits has risen to 40,000.

The online courses are provided by UTM professors: Sergiu CORLAT – Computer Science courses, Iurie SUBOTIN – Chemistry courses, Ion JARDAN – Mathematics courses (in Romanian), Leonid DOHOTARU – Mathematics courses (in Russian). The project is also the merit of the efforts of the CEGHID and DTIC teams – Direction of Information Technology and Communications within UTM. The former provided the logistics and promotion of the project in over 90 high schools, colleges/centers of excellence, informing students about the unique opportunity to prepare for the BAC exams under the guidance of university professors. Their colleagues from DTIC ensured the video and audio transmission of the courses. The project was also promoted on TV by the Vice-Rector of UTM, Dinu ȚURCANU.

We remind you that the available preparatory courses are Computer Science, Chemistry and Mathematics, which take place online, every week, being broadcast live on the Facebook pages of UTM.
