The UTM library enhanced its collections with over 500 books published in Romania

For the new academic year, the Technical University of Moldova is preparing new modern learning spaces, laboratories equipped with the necessary facilities for the study and research process, but also a varied and valuable collection of documentary sources of information, indispensable for teaching, learning, and researching.

Recently, the University Library expanded its selection of scientific sources with over 500 books from various publishing houses in Romania – AGIR, Matrix Rom, Universitară, Electra, etc., specialized in publishing scientific books, textbooks, manuals, compendiums, university guides, normative-technical documents in the fields of science and technology.

Among the most notable book lots received by the UTM library were the acquisitions from AGIR Publishing House – the publisher of the General Association of the Engineers in Romania – 146 book titles (a total of 241 copies). Another 70 books were purchased from the Publishing House of the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urban Planning in Bucharest, as well as 89 titles (174 copies) – from the MATRIX ROM Publishing House in Bucharest, the main publisher of works for Constructions and Installations, Automatics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

The new volumes include documentary sources of information for the following study programs and courses: Electronics; Electrotechnics; Chemistry; Telecommunications; Energy; Electrical Engineering; Renewable Energy; Informatics; Computers and Networks; Microelectronics; Mechatronics; Biomedical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Auto Transportation; Microbiology; Food Technology; Nutrition; Food Safety; Architecture; Interior Design; Thermal, Gas and Air Conditioning Systems Engineering; Landscape Architecture; Constructions; Geodesy and Cadastre; Law; Economy; Management; Marketing etc.
