Maib Announces the Launch of the Second Edition of the “You drive IT” Scholarship Program

The maib team believes in the potential of every young woman who wants to change the world through technology. In this spirit, the leading bank in Moldova announces the launch of the second edition of the “You drive IT” program — a scholarship initiative dedicated to female students at the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) studying in IT and STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

This year’s edition will award five individual scholarships, each worth 15,000 MDL, to UTM students in IT and STEM who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and strong involvement in extracurricular and volunteer activities.

Svetlana Bodaci, HR Director at maib, stated:
“Currently, around 40 women professionals are part of the maib IT team, and we’d be thrilled to see that number grow, just like the number of girls choosing a career in tech. Through this scholarship program, we aim to support future women leaders in technology and help build a stronger, more inclusive tech community. Maib is an innovative brand focused on people and technological progress, and investing in people is part of our DNA.”
