ISD, interested in further developing the partnership with FCIM-UTM

A delegation from the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics paid a visit to the headquarters of ISD – Inther Software Development in Chișinău, part of Inthergroup, which provides logistics solutions for world-renowned companies.

The director of the company, Radu CORLĂTEANU, welcomed the FCIM representatives – associate professor, Dr. Dumitru CIORBĂ, dean; associate professor, Dr. Ion FIODOROV, head of the Software Engineering and Automatics Department; associate professor, Dr. Irina COJUHARI, head of the study program “Automatics and Informatics”. While presenting the company’s strategic directions within its activity, the director specified their main target, focused on providing logistics solutions for world-renowned companies, specializing in software development and automation of logistics processes in large warehouses.

During the meeting, the possible directions of collaboration and cooperation of the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics with ISD were discussed, the director of the company, Radu CORLĂTEANU, being interested in the further evolution of the collaboration partnership with the Technical University of Moldova in the field of research and development.

In turn, the FCIM teachers had the opportunity to reunite with one of their students, Alexandru HALMAGEA, graduate of the specialty “Automatics and Informatics”, class of 2019, employed at ISD as a plc engineer, currently involved in a research and development project for an important client in the Netherlands.
