Introduction

Telecommunications Engineering is an engineering discipline centered on electrical and computer engineering which seeks to support and enhance telecommunication systems. Telecommunication is a diverse field of engineering connected to electronic, civil and systems engineering. They help find the cost of money for different types of computers and technological objects. Ultimately, telecom engineers are responsible for providing high-speed data transmission services. They use a variety of equipment and transport media to design the telecom network infrastructure; the most common media used by wired telecommunications today are twisted pair, coaxial cables, and optical fibers. Telecommunications engineers also provide solutions revolving around wireless modes of communication and information transfer, such as wireless telephony services, radio and satellite communications, and internet and broadband technologies.[1]

Areas of ​​activity:

  • Convergence and integration of computer networks with conventional communications networks;
  • Development of the operating, administration and maintenance system, in particular of the TMN (Telecommunication Management Network) telecommunications network management platform;
  • Technologies and Telecommunication Systems;
  • Telecommunications networks and software;
  • Security of electronic and telecommunications systems;
  • Engineering and management in telecommunications.

Research projects

  • Contributions regarding the study of devices for obtaining moderate microwaves (0.5 – 27 GHz);
  • Application of the optimization algorithms of the communications networks (the semi-Marcov apparatus, the analysis of the telecommunications networks by extending the simulation of the parameters).
  • Technologies and methods of reproduction of conductive nanowires;
  • New methods of measuring and measuring impedance with simulated resonance;
  • Electronic devices and circuits;
  • Spectral analysis and processing of digital signals, elaboration of methods and devices for receiving and transmitting channels;
  • Researching the methods and procedures for communication of microsatellites with ground stations for capturing and transmitting images in real time.

Participation in international exhibitions:

  • PROINVENT XVII International Exhibition of Scientific Research, Innovation and Invention, March 20-22, Cluj-Napoca, Romania with the presentation: “Solutions to increase the quality of service in multifunctional communications networks by minimizing the number of control points and combating physical jitter “. The diploma of excellence and the PROINVENT medal and the EUROINVENT Medal diploma were awarded;
  • European Exhibition of creativity and innovation EUROINVENT 11 Edition, May 16-18, 2019, Iaşi, Romania, with the presentation: “Fighting of phase instability of the digital signal at Reception in the optical communication networks”. The Diploma of Gold Medal, Certificate of Recognition Gold Medal and Certificate of Excellence were awarded;
  • International exhibition of inventions “INVENTICA 2019” 26.06.2019-28.06.2019 Iaşi, Romania, with the presentation “Improving the quality of digital signal at reception in the optical communication networks using a smoothly tunable lens and phase shifter”.

Brief CVs

Nistiriuc Pavel – PhD associate professor, dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications, Technical University of Moldova. In 1979 I graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of Chisinau. Field of scientific investigations: Telecommunication Systems, Networks and Devices. He is the author of over 150 publications and 9 patents. At different international salons and exhibitions, the results obtained were appreciated with 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
