Today, the Technical University of Moldova welcomed a distinguished delegation from the Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiești, led by Mrs. Vica ANGELICA. The official meeting brought together leaders from both institutions, marking an important milestone in strengthening their bilateral relationship.
The dialogue focused particularly on the vast opportunities created for students and faculty, such as:
- Exchange programs between faculty members and students, offering access to diverse perspectives and a better understanding of international educational practices.
- Dual degree programs aimed at opening global horizons for future graduates.
- Expanding participation in the Erasmus+ program to increase the number of mobility opportunities for students and faculty in the coming year.
The delegations also explored ways to collaborate on joint research and innovation projects, which aim to develop the technical and professional skills of students—initiatives that will provide access to advanced resources and international expertise.
“Discussions about dual degrees, exchange programs, and Erasmus+ mobilities are not just plans on paper – they are a clear signal that we want to provide our students with access to international experiences that will broaden their perspectives. Such collaborations encourage students to discover their potential, work in multicultural teams, and succeed in the global job market,” said UTM rector, Viorel BOSTAN.
The delegation from Ploiești expressed its appreciation for the professionalism of UTM’s leadership team and for the University’s aspirations to continue to assert itself as a center of academic and technological excellence in the region.
The Technical University of Moldova supports international initiatives that contribute to the development of high-level specialists and has high expectations for the realization of the projects discussed with the delegation from across the Prut River.
