At the Technical University of Moldova, education and innovation come together through a generous donation from EngView Systems, a leader in software solutions for the packaging industry. This partnership gives UTM students access to advanced technologies that are crucial for shaping successful careers.
EngView Systems, a software company from Bulgaria, is showing its dedication to supporting education and innovation by donating its leading software, EngView Package & Display Designer, to UTM’s Faculty of Design (FD). The 23 licenses were distributed across the “Design and Printing Technologies” (DPT) and “Industrial and Product Design” (IPD) programs, both focused on structural packaging design. This initiative gives students valuable hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools, furthering UTM’s commitment to combining educational excellence with research and innovation.
To facilitate the use of the software, Vladimir DIMITROV, an EngView Systems specialist, conducted a training session for faculty members and students. The session included practical demonstrations and detailed presentations on the software’s features and its applications in the printing industry.
“Through this training, students acquired essential knowledge on using EngView to develop their technical skills in packaging design and graphics. The support provided adds significant value to their educational experience and prepares them for the real-world demands of the printing industry. We thank EngView Systems for their support in developing the skills of our students – the future professionals,” said Lucia ADĂSCĂLITĂ, a university lecturer in the DTP program at FD-UTM.
For his part, company representative Vladimir DIMITROV emphasized:
“Collaboration with UTM allows us to invest in the future of the packaging industry. It is an honor to contribute to the development of students’ skills and to inspire future generations of innovators.”
