Ilinca CIOCANU is the only graduate from Mircea Eliade Theoretical High School in Chișinău to achieve a perfect score of “10” on all her Baccalaureate exams this year. Her success exemplifies how perseverance, dedication, and passion can lead to excellence. As one of the first applicants to submit her documents in the original form for admission to the Technical University of Moldova, she has once again shown admirable determination to acquire the necessary education and contribute to the country’s IT sector. We warmly welcome her to the UTM community!
Her outstanding performance in the Baccalaureate exams was the result of enormous effort. “I was surprised and at the same time proud of my success in the Baccalaureate exams, a success I owe equally to my teachers and parents who encouraged and supported me in all my initiatives and achievements,” Ilinca gratefully shares, emphasizing that her decision to continue her studies in the country, at UTM, was a well-thought-out plan long before knowing her exceptional exam results.
For Ilinca, UTM is not just an academic choice but a strategic one. Drawn by the institution’s reputation as the only technical university in Moldova and its presence in global rankings, she decided to follow her passion and enroll in the “Software Engineering” program within the English-speaking branch of the Faculty of Computers, Informatics, and Microelectronics.
As Ilinca puts it, choosing UTM was a well-considered decision, given the many opportunities it offers, including the chance to study in English right here in Moldova. “I believe studying at UTM is the best choice for me,” she says, looking forward with excitement to the student experience awaiting her.
With a strong passion for mathematics and chemistry, Ilinca envisions her days at UTM as a blend of academic excellence and engaging interactions with her peers. Her previous visit to UTM during Doors Open Day gave her a glimpse into the vibrant and committed community she’ll soon be a part of.
Choosing to stay in Moldova and study at UTM, with the determination to contribute to the optimization of processes in the IT industry in the Republic of Moldova, reflects not only her confidence in the quality of education offered but also her desire to build a prosperous future at home.
