July 10, 2024, was a momentous day for the Technical University of Moldova and especially for the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications (FET). This date marked the graduation of the first cohort of the dual degree program in Information Security in Communication Systems and Networks. This innovative program, created in collaboration with “Ștefan cel Mare” University of Suceava (USV) and its Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, offers students exceptional training and an internationally recognized degree in cybersecurity—a field of critical importance in today’s digital society.

Graduates receive diplomas in Information Security in Communication Systems and Networks from UTM and Cybersecurity from USV. Notably, Ion MALEAR, the top graduate of 2024 in the Cybersecurity specialization, and Corina PETRUŞCA stood out for their outstanding academic performance, earning well-deserved recognition for their devotion and hard work.
