July 4th marked a special day, bringing together the rector and students from the FAF community in the Faculty of Computers, Informatics, and Microelectronics for a moment of bilateral synergy.
UTM Rector Prof. Dr. Viorel Bostan, renowned for his integrity and dedication to education, highlighted the importance of fundamental life principles: intelligence, discipline, and success. He encouraged graduates to keep pursuing their goals and to continue working hard, as only consistent effort is the true path to achieving their dreams.

“Life is a continuous race, and each failure is an opportunity to become stronger and wiser. Never stop trying because success comes to those who persevere. Be flexible with change and do not fear mistakes. Stay true to your passions. Be honest with yourselves and have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. Your time is precious, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Strive for success through adversity and take care of the people who truly matter to you.”
Rector Viorel Bostan also underscored the flip side of success, explaining that failures are inevitable and valuable. “Learn from them and use the lessons to advance in various aspects of life,” he noted.

In a dynamic world, flexibility to change is the key to success, the rector said, emphasizing the importance of this aspect and urging students to adopt a suitable approach to the situation. He encouraged young graduates not to fear transformations, as they are part of progress. “Life is a continuous race,” he said, “and every untried step is a missed opportunity.”
Another essential viewpoint addressed by the rector was the importance of personal opinion. “Do not seek external validation but have the courage to follow your intuition and form your own opinions. The only validation that truly matters is that of your own conscience,” the rector confidently added.
On an optimistic note, he urged the young graduates to move forward with determination and courage. “You have nothing to lose until you try,” he emphasized. “Joy and well-being come from action and fulfilling your personal mission. May each day become a new opportunity to discover your potential and surpass your limits.”

In conclusion, the rector encouraged students to find the “golden mean” in life and to continue the race with wisdom and confidence in their abilities.
The FAF community, known for its high level of competence and fluency in English among all its members, has always been an example of academic excellence. Rector Viorel Bostan played a crucial role in the formation and development of these young people, and at the graduation ceremony, he was proud to offer his final pieces of advice for the future.
“Don’t stop here!” he said. “Your knowledge and experiences will be valuable in various areas of life. Continue to learn, grow, and contribute to the world in your unique way,” concluded Rector Viorel Bostan.
Congratulations to all graduates of the Technical University of Moldova!
