The Technical University of Moldova and “Premier Energy Distribution” JSC have signed a new collaboration agreement, further strengthening their long-term partnership in the fields of energy and electrical engineering. UTM Rector, Prof. Dr. Viorel Bostan, and Jose Luis Gomez Pascual, Country Manager of Premier Energy Distribution, formalized this agreement with the aim of providing students with practical training and ensuring their qualification level meets European standards.
“The signing of the collaboration agreement with Premier Energy Distribution, the largest electricity distribution operator in the Republic of Moldova, marks a significant moment for the Technical University of Moldova,” emphasized UTM Rector, Prof. Dr. Viorel Bostan. “I greatly appreciate Premier Energy Distribution’s openness to collaborating with UTM, especially their focus on renewable energy, a field with enormous potential for the Republic of Moldova. Together, we can contribute to diversifying energy sources, reducing dependence on fossil fuels, and building a sustainable energy future for our country. At the signing of the collaboration agreement, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dumitru Braga, Dean of the Faculty of Energy and Electrical Engineering at UTM, expressed his appreciation for Premier Energy Distribution as an ideal platform for the practical training of FEIE-UTM students.
In his remarks, Jose Luis Gomez Pascual reaffirmed his commitment to a productive and continuing partnership with the Technical University of Moldova, the only engineering higher education institution in the Republic of Moldova. “At Premier Energy Distribution, we believe that our success depends on the quality of our human resources. Providing students with the opportunity to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge directly from the industry is essential for ensuring a qualification level aligned with European standards.
