The Technical University of Moldova takes great pride in its student, Traian CĂPĂȚÎNĂ, who remains undefeated in beach wrestling. The freestyle wrestler has once again proven his prowess by securing the championship title for the second consecutive year at the World Series tournament held on the Saint Laurent Du Var coast in France.
Traian CĂPĂȚÎNĂ, a third-year student in the “Law” program at the Faculty of Construction, Geodesy, and Cadastre, has captured the hearts of fans and elevated UTM’s reputation. In the final of the 90 kg weight category, Traian triumphed over a formidable opponent from Azerbaijan, once again showcasing his exceptional determination and talent.
Traian’s achievements highlight not only his athletic skill but also his dedication to academics. His success is a testament to the caliber of students at UTM, who excel both in the classroom and on the international sports stage, bringing pride to the entire academic and athletic community in Moldova.
