In a world that’s constantly evolving, the future of creativity in Moldova relies heavily on the adaptability and innovative spirit of its youth. This was vividly showcased at the 4th edition of the Careers of the Future Forum 2024. The event was a tremendous success, bringing together students, high school and college graduates from across the country, teachers, and professionals from various creative industries to celebrate the innovation and talent of our young people. Covering areas from animation and game design to multimedia production, the Forum provided a stage for participants to present and receive recognition for their exceptional work.
We proudly acknowledge the excellence of the students from the UTM Faculty of Design. These remarkable young individuals demonstrated their competitive edge brilliantly. Second-year students from the Game Design program secured first place with their impressive animation titled “DAYDREAM.” Meanwhile, a group of first-year girls from the Animation program stood out by securing third place.
“DAYDREAM,” a 4K Uncompressed animation, stands as a true masterpiece of creativity and ingenuity from the students at the UTM Faculty of Design. Its impressive quality and complexity captivated both the audience and the jury, earning our students the opportunity to participate in the prestigious View Conference in Turin. This animated short film is the product of the tireless work and exceptional passion of a talented team, consisting of:
● Creative Director: Vlad Șișcanu (ROYCE)
● Written by: Alexandru Moraru
● 2D Artist / Character Design: Cristina Motricală
● Environment Design / Rendering: Vlad Șișcanu & Dumitru Cereteu

From concept to execution, every aspect of the project was crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a deep passion for animated art. This level of commitment is a testament to the team’s professionalism and exemplary dedication, with countless hours invested in perfecting each frame. “DAYDREAM” is not just a successful animation; it marks the promising debut of #ROYCEstudio. This project highlights the enormous potential of our students and gives us a reason to be proud of UTM’s creative future.
