International Cooperation for Developing Students’ Linguistic Skills

Under the Cooperation Agreement between EMA – Development and Mobility Agency from Slovakia and the UTM Faculty of Computers, Informatics, and Microelectronics, 17 students have benefited from advanced English language courses. The program ran from November 2023 to May 2024, targeting B2-C1 language proficiency levels.

Students were selected through a language proficiency test, ensuring that only the most prepared and motivated participants had access to this program. The courses were conducted by Associate Professor Dr. Svetlana CATERENCIUC and provided a valuable opportunity for young people to develop their communication skills in English and advance through the linguistic proficiency levels.

A notable aspect of this program was the adaptability and customization of the courses. Lessons were planned and conducted in accordance with the suggestions and requests of the students, ensuring that the teaching materials and methods were fully aligned with their specific linguistic needs. This student-centered approach guaranteed an effective and relevant learning environment, fostering the personal and professional growth of the students.

Participation in this advanced English language course program significantly improved the linguistic competencies of the students and opened new opportunities for them. The skills acquired will be greatly beneficial for their continued academic studies and future professional careers, giving them a competitive edge in the global job market.

The Cooperation Agreement between EMA – Development and Mobility Agency and the Technical University of Moldova is an excellent example of international partnership in education, demonstrating how collaboration can lead to substantial results in both the development of students’ language skills and their preparation for future challenges.
