Are you a talented Moldovan, perhaps a graduate of the Technical University of Moldova, currently working abroad? The Republic of Moldova needs you! You now have the chance to contribute to the development of your homeland through a new program launched by the Bureau for Diaspora Relations. The Program for Supporting the Short-Term Return of Highly Qualified Diaspora offers financial and logistical support to enable experts like you to return to Moldova and share the knowledge, skills, and experience you have gained abroad.
The program is open to Moldovan diaspora members who have acquired at least 3 years of professional experience abroad, hold higher education in a relevant field, and are fluent in Romanian.
The program provides a benefits package designed to facilitate temporary return and significant contributions from the diaspora, including coverage of international transportation expenses, daily allowances, and accommodation costs, or alternatively, consultancy and expertise costs. It also offers comprehensive informational support for integration and activity in the Republic of Moldova.
The diaspora is expected to contribute to the progress of the Republic of Moldova by transferring best practices and innovations; introducing new technologies and professional skills; and creating and facilitating useful contacts for the country’s socio-economic development.
Candidates can submit their applications until the end of the year. Evaluations occur monthly, with a deadline on the 25th of each month. Full details, including regulations, eligible fields, and the application process, are available on the website: https://brd.gov.md/ro/content/anunt-pentru-oportunitate-de-finantare-cadrul-programului-de-sustinere-revenirii-de-scurta.
