Digital Exam: A Novel Innovation in Final Assessments for Physics and Mathematics at UTM

The 2024 examination session at the Technical University of Moldova introduced a groundbreaking innovation in the educational process: the final evaluations in Physics and Mathematics were conducted in a digital format. This new approach was met with enthusiasm and a bit of nervousness by the students, marking a significant milestone in modernizing the evaluation methodologies at UTM.

Under the leadership of UTM Rector, Professor Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, and the Vice-Rector for Digitalization, Associate Professor Dr. Dinu ȚURCANU, the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Department successfully ensured the secure administration of exams over a period of five days. More than 1,600 first-year students participated in these exams, each experiencing the new digital examination platform.
