The Francophone community at the Technical University of Moldova convened to commemorate the accomplishments and excellence of students and faculty members during the 2024 Francophonie Days, held throughout March. The culmination of this memorable event was marked by a formal closing ceremony and an awards presentation honoring the winners of various competitions organized by the National Office AUF-Moldova.
The Francophonie Days 2024 provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate diversity, creativity, and dedication to the French language and culture. In a festive ambiance, students and professors who excelled in competitions organized by AUF member universities, students of technical vocational schools offering French language courses and bilingual Francophone classes responded to the invitation to participate in the closing ceremony of the 2024 Francophonie Days, showcasing that passion for the Francophonie is more alive than ever within the academic community in Moldova.

The ceremony, hosted by Claudia VISAN, the manager of BN AUF-Moldova, was an occasion to honor the success of March’s events dedicated to French language and culture and to congratulate the winners. Gratitude was extended to the partners and esteemed guests, including His Excellency the Ambassador of France to the Republic of Moldova, Graham PAUL; Ludmila ARMASU-CANTIR, Vice-Rector of “Ion Creangă” State Pedagogical University in Chisinau; Narcis AFRASINEI, Deputy Director of the “Mihai Eminescu” Romanian Cultural Institute in Chisinau; Daniela MUNCA-AFTENEV, Partnership Manager at the Youth and Sports General Directorate Chisinau, and the Embassy of Canada for Romania and Moldova.
