The Technical University of Moldova and the State University of Moldova (USM) hosted the launch of the second edition of the Iceberg Bootcamp—an important event for the academic and entrepreneurial community, dedicated to the development and strengthening of the skills of talented students. With the support of partners from University of California, Berkeley, and the Future Technology Activity (FTA) project, 70 students had the opportunity to participate in a unique and inspiring learning experience.
The event was opened by the rector of UTM, Prof. Viorel Bostan, the vice-rector of USM, Vladimir Dolghi, the director of the Future Technologies Project, Doina Nistor, the country representative of the Western NIS Enterprise Fund, Stella Jemna, and other esteemed guests, whose invaluable support greatly emphasized the significance of this initiative.

Under the guidance of the Bootcamp’s main coordinator, Gigi Wang, and with the active involvement of previous edition’s winning students, the program has been designed to offer participants an enriching journey, as well as multiple opportunities:
- Direct mentorship from Silicon Valley experts: Seasoned professionals will provide personalized guidance and practical advice to help students refine their business ideas.
- Engage with top speakers and leaders in the startup field: Students will be able to draw inspiration from successful individuals and learn from their expertise.
- Develop practical skills: The focus will be on building the essential skills necessary for initiating, developing, and effectively managing a business.

The event’s special guest, Mr. Mihai STIPANOV, founder of the Dreamups startup, offered valuable insights into the entrepreneurial field and advice on transforming a startup idea into a thriving business venture that attracts investments.
The organizers extend profound gratitude to all those involved in the organization and execution of the Iceberg Bootcamp. The success of this edition further fuels their motivation to support innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
