In celebration of the 25 years since the foundation of the Francophone Branch at the UTM Faculty of Food Technology, the students of the faculty had the opportunity to participate in the “Nutrition Cosmique pour bien-être” workshop.
The initiative was proposed by the students, who suggested the organization of an event focused on less traditional food, dedicated to identifying optimal solutions for individuals with health conditions or nutrition requirements.
The event was attended by representatives of the business environment in the field of Nutrition – UTM graduates, who spoke to the students about the process of launching a business, challenges that might be encountered, and products that enjoy popularity among consumers who practice a specific diet: desserts without sugar, gluten, sweeteners, or dyes.
The organizer of the workshop, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Aurica CHIRSANOVA, head of the Food and Nutrition Department, highlighted that such events are systematically organized at UTM for effective maintenance of durable relations with the business environment, which provides internship and employment opportunities for students. The vice-rector for Didactic Activity, Assoc. Prof., Dr. Vladislav REȘITCA, previously dean of this faculty, stated that these events are particularly important and beneficial both for the university and for the business environment.
