Being a teacher implies advocating for justice, honesty and integrity. Although he presents himself as an IT specialist, the vice-rector of the Technical University of Moldova, Dinu ȚURCANU, is also thoroughly committed to the field of communication, dedicating himself to strengthening the image of UTM and boosting the relationship with the socio-economic environment, but not just by virtue of his position. Inspired by the National Anticorruption Center, he was also actively involved in the campaign for promoting anti-corruption education at UTM.
Together with experts Ion PRUTEANU, head of the Anticorruption Education Directorate, and Grigore LUPAȘCU, chief inspector of AED, the team promoted standards for integrity within the student environment, as well as for the teaching and auxiliary staff of the institution. The activities continued consistently, despite power cuts and any other discomforting challenges. Due to his diligence and values, Mr. Țurcanu was awarded the Honor Diploma and the NAC medal for cooperation in the prevention of corruption and the promotion of integrity in the educational system. The prize was delivered by general Vadim COJOCARU, responsible for operational-investigative activities, and for the activities within the North and South territorial subdivisions of the NAC.
Congratulations, vice-rector Dinu ȚURCANU!
