UTM students Valeria GURANDA and Marcel ZACUȚELU – winners of the “Francophone Laureate Award”

Valeria GURANDA and Marcel ZACUȚELU, students of the French-taught programs “Informatique” (UTM Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics) and, respectively, “Technologies alimentaires” (UTM Faculty of Food Technology), became winners of the AUF contest “Francophone Laureate Award”.

The “Francophone Laureate Award” competition was launched by the University Agency of the Francophonie in Central and Eastern Europe, through the AUF-Moldova National Bureau, and is one of the primary actions of the AUF-Moldova National Plan, through which AUF aims to award the best students of the Francophone branches from the AUF member universities in the Republic of Moldova.

The evaluation of the candidates was performed based on the submitted files, as well as an interview, among the main evaluation criteria being academic success, the level of knowledge of the French language, the involvement in the AUF activities and in extracurricular activities, etc.

For the two winners, the aspiration to visit Paris has become reality! The students will benefit from a stay in the capital of France between August 15-19, 2022.

We wish you success and beautiful achievements in the future, our dear students!
