TUM has opened its doors to Ukrainian refugees

The Technical University of Moldova has opened its doors to the refugees from the war in Ukraine.

The activity is managed by the Directorate of Social and Student Activities, the Committee of Student Unions and the Student Tenant Councils in the TUM dormitories. About 200 people have been accommodated since Sunday.

The people accommodated are guided by the Migration Office and the District Court.

If you want to contribute, you can do so within the following timeframes:

9:00 AM – 8:00 PM at Studenților Street 1 (dorm no. 1, TUM)

or

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at 5 Studenților Street 5 (Directorate of Social and Student Activities, TUM).

Currently, there is a need for: bed sheets (pillowcases, duvets), pillows, comforters, blankets, but also water, toilet paper, non-perishable food (canned food, grains/cereals, biscuits), and other hygiene products.

P.S. We thank the people who responded receptively and showed up with huge bags shortly after finding out about our activity.
