The TUM doctoral students, Daniela COJOCARI – scientific specialty 253.06. Biological and chemical technologies in the food industry, 4th year within the Doctoral School of Food Science, Economic Engineering and Management, and Octavian MANGOS – scientific specialty 221.02. Energy conversion technologies and renewable resources, third year, Doctoral School of Computer Science, Electronics and Energetics, are two of the holders of the Government Excellence Scholarship for 2022.
In 2022, a total of 15 PhD students from the Republic of Moldova will benefit from the Government Excellence Scholarship, worth 2,500 lei, and another 4 – from the Science Scholarship, worth 2000 lei. A decision in this regard was approved on January 12 during the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
The scholarship competition for doctoral students is part of the government’s program for supporting active young people involved in national and international research projects. By offering these scholarships, the Government aims to increase the quality of doctoral education and the number of young people motivated to pursue it.
