10 TUM laboratories renovated and re-equipped according to modern standards

Today, 10 laboratories for practical horticultural courses were renovated and re-equipped according to modern standards. The inauguration was carried out within the Department of Food Technology of the Faculty of Food Technology and the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport, as part of the “Livada Moldovei” project, supported by the European Union through the European Investment Bank. The beneficiaries of the investments worth 2 million euros are over 1000 TUM students, who will have the opportunity to do research and experiments in the field of food quality with the aid of new modern laboratory equipment and chemical reagents required for research activities.
