The first course within the MAKE A SHIFT Academy – “3D Modeling and Printing”, hosted by the FabLab Engineering Center in Chișinău, ended with a presentation of the developed projects.
During the 5 weeks, the participants showed to be ingenious, diligent and patient in the development of projects.
The course resulted in 11 projects, including:
- 3 matrices,
- decorative elements,
- board games,
- lamp-stand for filming videos on the phone.
The impressions of the course graduates seemed to have lived up to their expectations: FabLab is a true pioneer in the promotion and support of creativity among young people passionate about engineering, technology and innovation. The Center fully deserves its reputation of being considered one of the most important prototyping and small-scale production workshops in Eastern Europe.
FabLab Chișinău Academy is organized by the FabLab Chișinău team, supported by the Tekwill Project and the Future Technologies Project in Moldova, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Government of Sweden, in partnership with the Technical University of Moldova.
