The ZIPHOUSE Center of Excellence in Design and Technologies of the Technical University of Moldova held the sixth edition of the “Best Window Display” design competition, aimed at young designers who want to create a seasonal themed decor for the storefronts of local brands.
Three designers competed for the “Best Storefront” nomination and for the big prize of 10,000 MDL, provided for the purchase of a useful gadget for improving the work process of designing, or the purchase of a specialized course.
The winner of the contest was Victoria SCRIPNIC’s storefront, which she decorated for the “MODA” store. The second place went to the participant Arina CAZAC, with the storefront for “Mi-e dor” store, and the third place went to Corina MACOVEI’s storefront for the “Duca Clothes” store.
The selection of the participants was done on the basis of the level of education in the creative fields of the candidates, the uniqueness of the displayed ideas, and the proactive attitude revealed during several events organized by ZIPHOUSE.
The project provided a space for young designers to express their creativity, thus giving our city a more festive appearance for the upcoming holidays.
