On December 9, 2021, the students of the study programs “Engineering and Management in Telecommunications” and “Telecommunications Networks and Software” within the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications participated in two instructive activities organized by Elena PECERSCHIH, expert within the Human Resources Department at MOLDCELL. The aim of the activity is to motivate the professional and personal development of students who choose the profession of engineer in ICT.
The MOLDCELL administration considers that lifelong learning, consisting of a combination of the university curriculum and the practical information provided by the relevant economic agents, benefits students both professionally and socially, as well as the company for which they are trained to work for. The main objectives of MOLDCELL’s cooperation with FET-TUM is to keep students up to date with technological development in the field of electronic communications and services and to explain the aspects and the development trends of the job they aim to pursue after graduation.
The MOLDCELL company provided students with the opportunity to participate in the round table on “Evolution of mobile communications networks and services” presented by FET graduate Eugen BEREGOI, who has also worked as a teacher at FET, being one of the most beloved professors. Mr. Beregoi is currently a radio access and quality network engineer at MOLDCELL.
As the topic has sparked interest among the students, Mr. Beregoi invited them to visit the Switching Center Office, where he showed and explained the principles of operation of telephone exchanges.
We are deeply grateful to MOLDCELL for understanding the need for on-the-job training and for their contribution within the preparation and the career guidance for students.
