Today, December 6, 2021, the rector of the Technical University of Moldova, univ. prof., Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, and the vice-rector for Informatization, Partnerships, Institutional Image and Communication, Dinu ȚURCANU, had a meeting at the Consulate General of the Republic of Moldova in Frankfurt am Main with the president of the Moldovan community “Moldova Noastra” in Frankfurt am Main Tatiana BURUIANĂ, the consul general Mihai CĂPĂȚÎNĂ, and the consul Ion COȘER.
The meeting focused on the establishment of the necessary measures through which the Technical University of Moldova can assist the diaspora in organizing professional retraining in areas related to educational services provided by TUM, such as IT, Cyber Security, Management, Economics, Digital skills, Heat, Water, Gas supply, etc. The parties also addressed the topic of TUM’s educational offer in regards to both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs for fellow citizens in the diaspora.
Ms. Tatiana BURUIANĂ showed to be interested in the topics discussed, noting that in the near future she will identify priority areas for our citizens in Germany, and later strengthen the collaboration with TUM in order to start providing educational services in the new academic year.
As a means to boost Moldovan-German cooperation in the field of education and research, the Consulate General of the Republic of Moldova in Frankfurt am Main came up with the proposal to organize bilateral meetings between the management of the Technical University of Moldova and higher education institutions in Germany, as well as with engineering companies, for the purpose of developing joint research projects, establishing partnerships on academic mobility, and exchanging experience in the area of innovative technologies currently developed in Germany (IT, automotive, biomedicine, etc.).
The visit of TUM rector Viorel BOSTAN and vice-rector Dinu ȚURCANU to Germany will last from the 6th to the 9th of December.
