A group of third year students from the Faculty of Power and Electrical Engineering, accompanied by Mrs. Ina DOBREA, head of the study program “Electroenergetics”, paid a visit to SC „HABSEV GRUP” SRL, , a company that offers technical solutions in the field of energy, and operates as a supplier of innovative electrical equipment, manufactured by world leaders in the field: NOJA Power Switchgear Pty Ltd (Australia), ORMAZABAL (Spain), PRYSMIAN group (Italy), EATON Company (Romania), etc.
In the showroom of the company both low voltage and medium voltage state-of-the-art electrical equipment is exhibited – a display which captured the interest of students who are currently in the process of designing power stations within the university course The Electrical Part of Power Plants and Stations. The projects involve sizing electrical appliances and conductors, and implementing modern technical solutions.
For several hours, the students had a captivating and extremely informative presentation of the most modern equipment currently used in electrical installations in the Republic of Moldova: cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation, fuses, separators, reclosers, fuse-separators, overvoltage limiters, prefabricated SF6 cells, etc.
