The opening of the Crystal System Laboratory at UPB and the prospects of opening one at TUM

The rector of the Technical University of Moldova, univ. prof., Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, and the vice-rector of TUM for Informatization, Partnerships, Institutional Image and Communication, Dinu ȚURCANU, participated in the inauguration of the Crystal System Industry 4.0 Laboratory within UPB – a project organized in partnership with Crystal System Group Ltd. The TUM representatives were invited by the rector of the Politehnica University of Bucharest (UPB), Mihnea COSTOIU.

According to the rector of UPB, Mihnea COSTOIU, the Crystal System Industry 4.0 Laboratory marks the beginning of a digital educational environment, through which students can consolidate their digital skills and apply the latest technologies within the labor market, used in Industry 4.0. The initiative also offers students a much greater chance of employment and a level of training that will guarantee them the competence to utilize the latest solutions and technologies in the companies in which they will be employed.

The rector of TUM, Viorel BOSTAN, congratulated the UPB management on the occasion of the inauguration of this important Laboratory and thanked the hosts for the invitation, but also for the prosperous partnership between UPB and TUM, which advances every year in order to ensure that engineers receive training according to labor market requirements.

In this context, the rector and vice-rector of TUM had constructive discussions with the representatives of Crystal System, in order to develop a Laboratory for the training of specialists within the Technical University of Moldova.

“I am firmly convinced that this laboratory, located within TUM, will offer our students a much greater chance of being employed, as well as training that will guarantee their ability of utilizing the latest technologies in the companies within which they are employed”, said the vice-rector of TUM, Dinu ȚURCANU, during the event.
