Between September 9-10, 2021, prof., Dr. Svetlana ALBU, assoc. prof., Dr. Ion ALBU and lecturer Liliana JITARI visited Bucharest, Romania, for an international exchange of experience, as members of the research project “Increasing the value of architectural heritage in the Republic of Moldova” at the Technical University of Moldova, Faculty of Construction, Geodesy and Cadastre, Department of Engineering, Management and Valuation of Real Estate.
The representatives of FCGC-TUM had a meeting with the president of the National Association of Evaluators in Romania – ANEVAR, Sorin PETRE, with whom they discussed the potential implementation of ANEVAR Standards in the Republic of Moldova and the possibility of enrolling TUM graduates (EDI program – Bachelor and EAI program – Master) for the ANEVAR certification.
The visitors participated in the international conference “Valuation of assets – a global perspective in the current conditions”, in which urgent issues in the field were addressed, such as: Valuation in conditions of uncertainty; How to implement environmental, social and governance factors in real estate valuation; The motivations of a dynamic real estate market in Hong Kong under the threat of the epidemic; Prudent asset valuation: how the new Basel III definition is implemented; Financing of green buildings and mortgage lending of green buildings in Romania; The access of authorized evaluators to information from the database owned by ANCPI; Challenges of the valuation activity in the current context; Valuation of green buildings – aspects to consider.
The Romanian Evaluator’s Day was marked through this large-scale event – an idea fully supported by the conference organizers: ANEVAR, which aims to organize, coordinate and authorize the practicing of the profession of an authorized evaluator in Romania, an association with 7 branches based in Bucharest, Constanța, Craiova, Timișoara, Iași, Cluj-Napoca and Brașov, but also by WAVO, which brings together professional property valuation organizations represented by appraisers and associated real estate consultants engaged in private practice, business, industry, the public sector, education, as well as some specialized groups that interact frequently.
