In the new academic year, the Technical University of Moldova returns to its ordinary course of things. According to the order issued by the rector, prof., Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, on September 1, 2021, the Bachelor programs, the integrative studies and the Technical College of TUM will start their activity in physical format in classrooms.
Whilst respecting the provisions of the instruction approved by Decision no. 60 of August 23, 2021, of the Extraordinary National Commission for Public Health, congestion in buildings will be avoided; all didactic activity will be organized in divided periods for reducing traffic of students and staff within study spaces; rooms will be ventilated during breaks; students will be required to sanitize their hands.
Masks (covering both the nose and the mouth) remain mandatory in all enclosed spaces for both teaching, non-teaching and auxiliary staff, as well as for students and visitors, regardless of their vaccination status. Worn masks will be collected in special waste bins provided for this purpose. The bins are equipped with a lid, pedal and bag inside. Optimal conditions for hand washing will be ensured, as well as hand sanitizers.
Arrow signs and visible lanes will be used in order to mark the paths for entering and exiting the University building, as well as for study spaces (classrooms, gyms, cafeteria, workshops, student dorms, corridors and courtyards of the TUM campus), ensuring that people maintain the required distance between each other within the institution. Subsequent decisions will be taken depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation.
