FUA students winners of ALLPLAN GmbH competition

At the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning, the second year students of the Architecture specialty had the exceptional opportunity to participate in a competition launched for the first time by ALLPLAN GmbH Munich | Germany.

33 of the best projects carried out by the students of TUM have been selected to participate in the international competition. The works were centered around the topic “Youth Cafe with 75 seats”, the execution being done under the auspices of the professors of the Architecture Department – Radu ANDRONIC and Diana ANDRONOVICI. The projects were developed through the Allplan design software, in accordance with the details about the location, but with complete freedom of creation.

The jury of international experts, Karin SCHMIDT and Lukáš ŠOMODI, assessed the projects according to the specific criteria imposed by the concept of the competition: 

  • The use of Allplan software in the development of projects; 
  • Architectural design; 
  • Design of the general board composition.

5 projects were selected in the first stage of the competition. The author of the winning project is Valeria COSTENCIUC, gr. ARH-193.

The Originality Award, given by the regional representative in Romania, Allbim.NET – was awarded to Irina POPA, gr. ARH-191.
