TUM students at the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Given the opportunities delivered by the Cooperation Agreement signed between the Technical University of Moldova and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, today, a group of TUM students paid a visit to the Interior Minister, under the auspices of #CEGHID – University Center for Career Information and Guidance, led by Radu MELNIC.

Students of the faculties of Electronics and Telecommunications (FET) and Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics (FCIM) were welcomed by the General Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ianuș ERHAN. As per his words, the Interior Minister is an institution under continuous modernization, offering propitious opportunities for the professional growth of graduates from various higher education institutions.

The young people were acquainted with the structure and activity of the MIA subdivisions, including the General Inspectorate of Police, the General Inspectorate of Border Police, the Information Technology Service and the Inspectorate of Operational Management.

The learning activity was followed by a trip inside the MIA headquarters, where the students got familiar with the daily activities of the employees. All information regarding the field of information and communications technology within MIA will assist and benefit the students in their future career plans and aspirations.
