A creative and efficient approach to finding solutions for issues encountered in the field of legal tech – today, a new Collaboration Agreement was signed by the rector of the Technical University of Moldova, Prof. Viorel BOSTAN, and the president of the “INVENTO” Association, Irina BUZU. Both parties recognize the necessity of a bilateral collaboration in the field of training and knowledge consolidation within the technological innovation segment, as well as the importance of a coordinated plan for the identification of digital solutions for the limitations within the access to justice.
Currently, the primary focus of the cooperation is the organization of HackJustice: An Access to Justice Hackathon – a large-scale competition centered around the topic of legal services and software development, organized by AO “INVENTO” within the project “Consolidation of efficiency and access to justice in Moldova”, implemented by UNDP Moldova, in partnership with “INVENTO” and IRP, with the financial support of Sweden.
For the time being, TUM’s main focus is promoting this topical competition among the students of the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics, while continuing to actively cooperate in joint projects in the field.
The vice-rector for Informatization, Partnerships, Institutional Image and Communication at TUM, Mr. Dinu ȚURCANU, was also present at the signing of the Agreement, participating in the process of establishing solid and mutually beneficial bridges between TUM and its partners.
