Today, high school graduates had the opportunity to prepare for their university admission process early on by participating in a series of competitions organized by TUM. Those passionate about everything STEM related or interested in subjects of a more creative nature accepted the invitation of the Technical University of Moldova to demonstrate their knowledge and skills through participating in the Technical Mathematics and Art Olympiads.
The Center for Information and Career Guidance of TUM (CEGHID) has invited students of high schools and centers of excellence from all over the Republic. As a result, 36 students have participated in the online Mathematics Olympiad, which consisted of 6 competitive math problems, constructed based on the high school curriculum.
The Art Olympiad was conducted in the halls of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport within the Râșcani academic campus of TUM. The 21 participants were required to sketch several static objects on a sheet of A2 size paper.
