Today, the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics hosted two events, organized by its partners: IAW Germany and Stefanini Moldova.

The first online workshop, titled “The variety and perspectives of IAW internships”, was conducted by Ecaterina BABITINA, IAW Germany manager. Students were informed about the prospects, requirements and benefits of internships offered by IAW, a company that operates in over 50 countries around the world, with subsidiaries for internships and employment. The internships are organized at companies located in Germany, comprising a potential employment contract. An individual scholarship is also awarded throughout the internship.

In addition, the students had the opportunity to directly dialogize with Viorel CELPAN, TUM graduate and beneficiary of an internship offered by IAW in Germany. Viorel shared his impressions on the experience gained during the internship and his subsequent activity in this company.

With the support of the IAW company, more than 20 TUM graduates have managed to complete an internship and get employed in top companies in Germany.

The second workshop – “Prepare your ticket for the interview” was moderated by Cristina DOLOȘCAN – Recruitment Specialist at Stefanini Moldova, an IT company operating in over 40 countries.

The students were instructed in the most important aspects of a successful interview, the essential criteria for putting together a perfect CV and what is the difference between a technical interview and a recruiter interview. Students were presented with a series of solutions and tips to effectively demonstrate their knowledge, skills and talents when applying for a job.
