On March 26, 2021, the Technical University of Moldova and the AA “National Agency for Auto Transport” signed a Cooperation Agreement.
The agreement aims to expand the relations of collaboration and partnership between the Agency and the University, one of the objectives being related to continuing professional training as part of the ongoing learning process during the professional activity of managers and specialists in the fields of transport and road infrastructure. Depending on the specialty of Bachelor and Master students, internships are to be planned and organized in different Directorates and subdivisions of the Agency.
Concurrently, it is expected to improve the training system for the engineering staff according to international standards, in conformity with the Bologna principles, the requirements of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), and the provisions of the Association Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova regarding the areas of education, research and technology transfer in the field of transport and road infrastructure. The achievement of this objective envisages the involvement of the Agency’s representatives in the training process of students and trainees, including in the State Commissions for taking the Bachelor’s exams, Master’s theses, specialist qualification projects and graduation exams for advanced training courses.
In order to fulfill the provisions of this Agreement, the parties will set up a Working Group, within which they will delegate representatives/specialists to identify the definite objectives, the necessary actions, execution deadlines, finalities and solutions for implementation and promotion.
