The Department of Microelectronics and Biomedical Engineering, managed by the most recognized Moldovan scientist in the world – Dr., Prof. Oleg LUPAN, hosted an extraordinary online presentation session of technical-scientific works within the Annual Conference of Bachelor, Master’s and Doctoral students, in the Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies subsection.
The participants, students of Bachelor, Master and Doctoral programs, were representatives of different universities in the country and abroad, who demonstrated the results of their work in nanotechnologies; gas sensors; materials research; medical electronics; electronic systems and quantum physics.
Some of the works proved to be particularly noteworthy:
- “Methods for measuring the porosity of porous layers” (authors: Cătălin TRIFAN and Aurel BABILUNGA, gr. MN-181),
- „Methods of exfoliation of layered materials” (authors: Cătălin CRECIUNEL, Daniel ȚÎRCHE, gr. MN-191; advisor: Dr. Eduard MONAICO),
- „Орган-на-чипе: технология и перспективы” (author: Ludmila GRAMOVICI, gr. IBN-192; advisor: Dr. Eduard MONAICO),
- „Properties of TiO2 sensors at operating temperature variation” (authors: Dinu LITRA, gr. MN-171, Cristian LUPAN, Master gr. MN-201M; advisor: Dr. Viorel TROFIM),
- “Properties of ZnO sensors doped with Au at different operating temperatures” (authors: Artiom PODMOGHILNII, gr. MN-171, Cristian LUPAN, Master gr. MN-201M; advisors: Dr. Oleg LUPAN, Dr. Viorel TROFIM),
- “Study of the efficiency of sensors based on nanostructured iron oxides for the detection of a low concentration of acetone” (author: Dumitru POZDNEAKOV, Cristian LUPAN; advisor: Dr. Oleg LUPAN, Dr. Viorel TROFIM),
- “Implementation of the Wireless node based on Mesh Network for environmental monitoring” (authors: Alexandr SEREACOV, Ina GALUS; advisor: Dr. Oleg LUPAN),
- “Design and elaboration of the electrode matrix for measuring cellular bioimpedance” (author: Alexandrina ȚURCANU, gr. IBM-171),
- “Research of heterostructures based on semiconductor oxides for environmental monitoring” (authors: Tudor ZADOROJNEAC, Nicolae MAGARIU, advisor: Dr. Oleg LUPAN).
The event involves the presentation of the individual scientific ideas of each of the participants, in the presence of colleagues, teachers and representatives of companies, which allows young researchers to understand the importance of adequate communication of scientific information and the fascination that the research itself implicates. In the current context of the epidemiological situation, the motto is added: research does not go into isolation!
Congratulations to all participants for the results. We wish you remarkable achievements in your future research.
