The young lecturers from the Department of Power Engineering of the Faculty of Power and Electrical Engineering, Constantin BOROSAN and Irina APOSTOL, continue the successful series of training courses on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
George VRAGALEV and Adrian GHERMAN, first year students at the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics, launched the iStudent.md platform – a project that comes to facilitate the promotion of opportunities for young people.
Why is outer space important to us? And are we important for outer space? These questions, not at all rhetorical, were intended to be answered by the participants in the online workshop “The imperative of outer space: dependencies and opportunities”, organized on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at the Faculty of Constructions, Geodesy and Cadastre, with Scott SCHNEIDER, Master of Aviation and Space Law, Head of Regulations at the “Southern Launch” Missile Company in Australia, Deputy Chief of Research at ISU International Space University.
On February 4, 2021, the Department of Telecommunications and Electronic Systems (Head of Department: Assoc. Prof., Dr. Lilia SAVA) of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications invited all teachers and professors to a scientific seminar of the scientists from the Institute of Electronic Engineering and Nanotechnology “D. Ghițu”, Dr. Victor COJOCARU and Dr. Leonid KONOPKO.
An IT and Cyber Security laboratory will be opened at the Technical University of Moldova, within the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications (FET). The fundamental objective is to develop a specialized laboratory, equipped with state-of-the-art appliances (MikroTik & Ubiquiti), but also to launch the MikroTik Academy and Ubiquiti Academy at TUM, FET.

Constantin BOROSAN, univ. lect. in the Department of Power Engineering, Faculty of Power and Electrical Engineering, has declared himself honored to receive the Award “Laureate in the field of teaching – beginner”, awarded by the Senate of the Technical University of Moldova.
The first Senate meeting of this year, held online on the Cisco Webex platform, was dedicated to the award ceremony conducted for the professors, PhD students and UTM students who, during 2019-2020, have obtained excellent results in various didactic-scientific fields.
