The annual conference dedicated to Cyber Security “Moldova Cyber ​​Week 2020” will be organized in Chișinău, between November 25-27, with the title “Development of a reliable cybersecurity infrastructure in the new “normal conditions”. For the first time, the conference will be held ONLINE.

The tackling of cyber threats during a pandemic, protection measures for sensitive information, cyber security challenges and the exchange of good practices are just some of the topics that will be addressed by international speakers who will be present at “Moldova Cyber ​​Week 2020”.

The event takes place under the auspices of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, being organized by the Information Technology and Cyber ​​Security Service (STISC) and the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), with the support of the International Communications Union and the Council of Europe.

Among the renowned guests of “Moldova Cyber ​​Week 2020”, there are going to be experts from Australia, Israel, USA, Switzerland, Finland, Ukraine, Romania and Belgium, namely:

Martin LEE, Cisco’s Director of Security for Cyber ​​Attack Intelligence and Research, who will talk about the cyber threats and incidents in 2020.

Mika LAUHDE, Huawei’s Vice President of Cyber ​​Security and Privacy, will present Artificial Intelligence solutions that can help reduce security incidents by more than 40%.

Ramsés GALLEGO, International Director of Security and Risk for Micro Focus with over 22 years of experience in cyber risk governance and management, will discuss the adoption of countermeasures to prevent cyber threats and create a sustainable cyber ecosystem.

Patrick MANA, EATM-CERT Manager at the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL) with extensive experience in Air Traffic Management (ATM), will discuss cyber threats, attacks and incidents on critical civil aviation information systems in the context of current and emerging technologies.

Keyaan J WILLIAMS, founder and director of CLASS (Leadership and Strategic Solutions in Cybernetics) with experience in information security, military service, higher education and administration, will discuss investments that require time, attention and security measures of the future.

Lavy SHTOKHAMER, director of Israel’s National Cyber ​​Security Directorate, an expert and manager in cyber security with a deep understanding of the cyber warfare environment at corporate and national levels, will share his experience in establishing appropriate cyber incident response strategies.
