With financial support from SlovakAid, European Migration Agency (EMA) launches a development project in Moldova, Skilled workforce for the Moldovan IT sector: digital education for young women and creation of a Cyber Security Academy, aiming to support the digital education of young women, create a Cyber Security Academy, and establish a new IT Laboratory in Technical University of Moldova (UTM).
During the previous visit of the EMA team, UTM confirmed its openness for the projects that offer new opportunities to our students, therefore EMA, in cooperation with the leading Slovak company ESET and UTM, will renovate and equip a new IT Laboratory at the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics, which will subsequently serve as the foundation for the creation of a Cyber Security Academy. The most successful Academy graduates will be awarded the opportunity to undertake a professional internship at ESET.
In cooperation with the TEKEDU and the GirlsGoIT programme, the project will support the transition of young women into the ICT sector and organize STEM workshops.
