With all the unanticipated events that have occurred during the past year – the unprecedented epidemiological situation and the need to switch to online communication, the start of the new 2020-2021 academic year proved to be quite promising. At the Technical University of Moldova, it is already known: from September 1, 2020, the study process at the only institution of higher education in engineering in Moldova has no limits!
It is, first of all, the merit of our professors, who, encouraged by the rector of UTM, prof., Dr. Viorel BOSTAN, have prepared video courses, lectures and laboratory activities for about 18 subjects in various fields: mathematics, programming, physics, chemistry, technical drawing, mechanics. A colossal effort, resulting in a vast library, with over 1,000 hours of video courses! The materials can be accessed remotely, from any corner of the world, at any time, both in Romanian and in Russian. All you have to do is access the portal www.lectii.utm.md, select the course section, choose the desired topics and learn. The platform will be operating from 01.09.2020.
From behind the scenes, of immeasurable importance was the direct support of the vice-rector Dinu ȚURCANU and the DTIC team – Information and Communications Technology Department (Head of Department – Vasile CHETROI), who, for several months, facilitated the recording and editing of video teaching materials.
Thanks to this joint effort, in the new academic year, the Technical University of Moldova will provide video materials for a great number of subjects. We expect a perfect start of the journey of the 2020-2021 university year. Certainly, learning at UTM has no limits!
