The online course “eTwinning and associated web tools for a pedagogical approach to remote learning” will be launched on 10 July 2020.

The online course eTwinning and associated web tools for a pedagogical approach to remote learning aims to familiarize participants with web tools associated with eTwinning projects, and to develop the ability to use two particular web tools: Google Sites and Wakelet.

Conditions: the participating teachers must be registered on the eTwinning platform https://www.etwinning.net/

Objectives: At the end of the course, the teachers will be able to:

  • identify web tools that can be used in eTwinning projects;
  • create and manage a Google Sites product for an eTwinning project or an eTwinning activity;
  • to create a digital product using the Wakelet tool.

Target group: the course is aimed at teachers registered on the eTwinning platform who want to strengthen their work skills in order to be actively involved in eTwinning projects.

Duration: 60 hours of remote learning and practical activities.

Duration: 3 weeks.

Period: July 10-31.

Language of instruction: Romanian.

Methodology: the course will take place on the MOODLE platform and will include:

  • individual study of the proposed materials;
  • executing work tasks;
  • online discussions;
  • interactive exercises.

The course will require participants to study weekly for about 20 hours and to carry out practical activities.

The evaluation consists of the appreciation of the involvement of the participants, highlighted by the completion of the work tasks and the level of participation in the discussions on the forum.

Certification: The course ends with a Certificate (60 hours of remote learning and practical activities) awarded after the final assessment.

Interested teachers are invited to register for the course by filling in the application form.

Deadline: July 8, 2020.

Note: The number of places is limited. To register for this online course, the candidate must be eligible according to the conditions mentioned. Also, the date and time of online registration will be taken into account – “first come – first served”.
